We are an intentionally artist-led, pay-it-forward community, and we lead with artists humanity - our full, complicated, creative, exhausted, hopeful humanity. Not what you do or who you’ve worked with. The relationships that come out of this room may or may not lead to a gig or referral. Our goal is authentic connection. The kind that happens when artists are finally in a room together without the pressure to be impressive. This is our version of ‘soft-networking’ and it is exactly what we need in this moment.

a Welcome Table is an artist care installation series for global majority artists. inspired by James Baldwin’s ‘welcome table’ in the South of France and other artists who gathered artists and change-makers during times of great change, our hope is to celebrate, nurture and inspire artists in between making great work.
